  1. Heres the name of the Andy Warhol factory member that is not credited. SUPERDUDE
Superdude is still alive and playing music at nearly 70. He is the person standing right behind Andy in the photo on sonicbids.
It would be nice for him to get some recognition.

  2. It's funny seeing Gerard with that whip. He was such a calm, friendly guy when I knew him for a few years in the late '70s and early '80s! Playful, but bookish! Greetings from France.

  3. I didn't get Television for some reason when I was younger, and I don't understand how or why, they're great. I loved Bowie since I was a teen though. I had the Changes record and played the heck out of it (this was in the late 90s, so I felt like I got cool points for having records). Velvets didn't come till college.

  4. How time rearranges the molecules of the brain: when I was in college, I'd hear VU and think, Hmm. So what. My idea of a good rock band was something like XTC. Now the greatness of VU is obvious to me. Same with Bowie: late teens, early 20's, I didn't like him. Now I think he's great.

  5. oops. I was thinking more of Billy Name – they always get crossed in my mind.

Though Gerard is kind of rugged looking now, so that appeals to me more than the thinner Gerard.

  6. During summer of 1966 I was walking thru Old Town in Chicago and saw a sandwich board sign on the sidewalk saying: Exploding Plastic Inevitable Show.

Went on in. Nothing's ever been he same.
