His art is on display around the world, but nobody knows his real name. Hidden behind sunglasses and a hat, French artist “JR” has created giant displays of Olympic athletes that are scattered across Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. JR is part of the Olympics’ artists-in-residence program, and says he hopes his work creates a conversation about unity and hope at the Rio Games.
