From the initial time and beginning of Hasidism, dance has been a way of connecting to g-d along with expressing joy. It is believed that it purifies the soul, uplifts spirituality, binds the community with unity, and makes social relationships better. Being considered as a way of worship, it has an important place in hearts of people.
Masha Micaelov is a Judaica artist brought up in Russia in an artistic family. Her father is a theatre director and her grandfather a poet. At the age of 12, she saw the downfall of Soviet Union, and experienced the spirit of freedom.
