Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel!
In today’s tutorial I’m finally doing a pop art makeup look. I’ve wanted to do one for so many years, but I just never got around to doing it. SoI’m so happy I finally got a chance to do one. I really wish I had a fun blue or yellow wig, but oh well.. You might be interested in these videos:

This is a new kind of video for me, but I love doing these crazy, quirky looks!
This is inspired by Roy Lichtenstein, the pop art artist! He is amazing! Check out his work if you haven’t already!

These are the materials I used:
Foundation: L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Powder in Cocoa
Eyeliners: Jordana, Elf, Wet n Wild
Eyeshadow: Jordana Rock Star
Contour: Sleek Contour Kit (medium and dark)
Highlights:L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Concealer in W6
Lipstick: Ruby Woo (white eyeshadow for the artificial shine on the lips)
Falsies: Ardell Edgy
Eyelash Glue: Ardell clear brush on lash adhesive
Warning: Too much make up will make it more difficult for the dots to stick
Step 1: Apply a light layer of foundation
Step 2: Contour the face: This gives your character’s face more depth
Step 3:Use eyeliner to make cartoony BOLD eyebrows
Step 4:Highlight underneath to brow so that they are more crisp.
Step 5:Apply eyeshadow. Pick a color that pops! This is Pop Art! Lol:)
Step 6: Apply brush. Remember vibrancy!^^
Step 7: Apply Lipstick. Choose a matte lipstick because shiny lipstick will
subtract from the cartoonish element you are working towards.
Step 8: Add an artificial shine using white eyeshadow.
Step 9: Next is the line work. You can go in a variety of directions with this step.
Look for inspiration in videos and photos on the internet.
Also, use a liquid liner because it produces darker richer blacks and it doesn’t
Step 10: Add the dots with a white pencil (or any color you choose). Make sure that you
use a “push and twist” technique. I’ve found that this makes the dots stick
better. Try to place the dots diagonally on the face, as this looks more natural
and works for the curvature of your face^^
Step 11: Final touches and accessories!
Have fun with this look and practice, practice, practice!!
Happy October 1st! It’s officially socially acceptable to be excited for Halloween. With that, I present you my Black Light Pop Art Zombie! Wear it just as the day time makeup or step it up a notch and add some black light!
